International Seminar

So you’re involved. You’ve learned a bit of the language, and you’ve met a few people online, or in person. What next? Can you take it further yet? Is your level of Esperanto really good enough?

Well, yes, frankly!

At the “Internacia Seminario” we provide courses designed for you, if you’re wanting to brush up on your rusty language skills, or even if you don’t yet speak a word!

Involving you in the whole event is a key part of our courses, so you get to know the hundreds of people from around 30 countries who turn up to this annual event, held over the new year in Germany.

This year we’re in WΓΌrzburg, a charming little town in Bavaria, where we will have a full programme during the day, evening events such as bands and plays, and a bar and ‘disco’ open throughout the night. You are cordially invited to our new year’s ball, included in the price, where you will be asked to help us help the Germans (amongst others) celebrate the British new year in style!

Take a look, and see who has already joined the event!

JEB members are heavily involved in the organisation of this event, so if you have any questions, ask in the forums, and we will be more than happy to help :-)

One Response to “International Seminar”

  1. Tim Says:

It’s worth pointing out to readers that the “International Seminar” is not as staid or boring as the misleading name may make it out to be.

You can expect to be in a multinational environment. By day there are excursions, activities, classes, or people just hanging out together. By night, it’s party time, as bands play music, people light up the bar, others spend time in the “tea ‘n’ chat room”.

Have no fear about being on your own: last year, the Brits were the third-best represented nation as far as numbers go :) We typically travel together in a convoy, so get in touch with us if you’d like to consider accompanying us, and seeing in the new year with a couple hundred friends abroad.
