Job For Esperanto-Speaker in China
Thursday, July 3rd, 2008 by TimNews reaches me of a job offer in Nanjing University, China.
The position is vice-president of a new programme that will prepare Chinese students to study in English-speaking universities and preference will be given to people who speak Esperanto. Unfortunately, I fear none of us will be able to apply, seeing as prospective employees will have gained a master’s degree or doctorate in teaching English to speakers of other languages, which somewhat limits the potential talent pool.

Most of this message will be in Esperanto, since people who will react to it must speak the language. For the sake of interest, I’ll summarise it very quickly in English. I won’t go into any of the details about time and so on, since if you can’t read it in Eo, you wouldn’t be able to apply anyway.
